In 2014 a new national society was established in Belgium: the interdisciplinary Belgian Dental & Surgical Sleep Medicine Academy (iBEDSSMA). The concept of iBEDSSMA will be explicitly towards the multidisciplinary approach of sleep-disordered breathing. The board members do believe that this concept will be the added value of this Belgian platform, and its unique selling position.
In the past, with iBEDSSMA we have been able to organize successful symposiums in Knokke, Genval, Durbuy, Brussels, Dinant, Antwerp and Bruges.
On September 21, 2024, we celebrate our 10th anniversary at Botanic Sanctuary in Antwerp!
